Junior Cert 2013 - Drawing Exam

Best of luck to all the PCA Junior Cert Art students next Wednesday! The Art student’s hard work over the past eight months has almost come to an end, as they completed their project work this Tuesday. The final stage is to complete two drawing exams which take place on Wednesday morning, 8th May. The instructions, requirements and object list for this year's drawing exam is available on the following link:  
Junior Cert Drawing Exam Paper 2013

Students are required to make two drawings as follows:
  1. Category A (Natural Forms)    or   Category B (Man-Made Forms)                  
    9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.      50 Marks
  2. Category C (The Human Form)                  
    11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.     50 Marks
Each drawing is marked under the following headings
     Observation (25)         Interpretation (25)                 
  1. Shape     5               1. Personal         5
  2. Form      5               2. Creative          5
  3. Texture   5               3. Use of media   5
  4. Tone       5               4. Skill                5
